Sim racers on the PC based racing platforms, know that designing a personal, racing league or real world livery for use in-game, can become a hobby within a hobby. Now the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport title will also provide its users with the tools needed to get their personal designs on track.

Gran Turismo fans will undoubtedly already know that Gran Turismo Sport will feature an extensive livery editor that will let your imagination run free while designing your personal livery. Out of the box, the GT Sport livery editor will let you select car colors, color effects, patterns and decals from a library, and project them onto the cars. Polyphony Digital is taking the livery design ability even one step further by providing players the option to create or import their own custom decals. Furthermore, Kazunori Yamauchi also confirmed that players will also be able to customize the helmets and race suits in GT Sport.

Gran Turismo Sport will become available in North America on October 17. The Europe and Australia release are scheduled for October 18, while in Asia the release is set for October 19. Sony stated they will soon reveal all the cars and tracks that will be included in the final product.
