Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 Pack DLC – Introducing the KTM X-Bow GT4

The initial version of the Assetto Corsa Competizione racing simulator was branded as the official game of the Blancpain GT Series, and later on, rebranded as the Official GT World Challenge game.

ACC started out as allowing players to experience the real atmosphere of the Blancpain FIA GT3 homologated championship, including all official drivers, teams, cars, and circuits of the series. When the organizer SRO lost its title sponsor at the end of 2019, the series was extended and rebranded as the GT World Challenge. Therefore, also Assetto Corsa Competizione became known as the official GT World Challenge game.

In February 2020, developer Kunos Simulazioni and publisher 505Games released the paid (SRO) Intercontinental GT Pack DLC, expanding ACC by adding car liveries, and the Bathurst, Laguna Seca, Kyalami, and Suzuka circuits which are raced on in the aforementioned championship.

But there was more to come. The Italian developer already announced that ACC would be expanded even further with a paid GT4 Pack DLC, and a paid British GT Pack DLC. The ACC GT4 Pack DLC will become available for PC in July of this year, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions will become available in the fall of 2020. The  British GT Pack DLC planned for a winter release and will offer 3 new iconic circuits that complete the 7-race calendar of the British GT Championship.

Two days ago, Kunos Simulazione introduced the BMW M4 GT4 as the first of the 11 new cars in the GT4 Pack DLC.

Today, Kunos Simulazioni introduces the KTM X-Bow GT4 as the second car on the list.  Reported to become available somewhere in July, the exact release date and the pricing of the ACC GT4 Pack DLC are yet to be revealed.

The lightweight and very aerodynamic KTM X-Bow GT4 is powered by a turbocharged Audi 2.0-liter four-cylinder TFSI-engine fitted with a seven-speed Holinger sequential gearbox. The engine delivers up to 360bhp depending on the BOP. When you combine all that power with its incredibly lightweight, the X-Bow GT4 becomes a truly competitive racing car.

The car is unrivaled in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. It can be deployed all over the world, and above all, it is specifically designed to suit the future GT4 class. It is also low in price when compared to other models, and there are no additional hidden costs.

The PC version of the game is available via Steam for €39,99. The Intercontinental GT Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione is available via Steam for €14,99 ( $14.99 – £12.49).
