Assetto Corsa United SportsCar Championship Corvette DP previews
As reported a while ago the International Endurance Racing Modding Group started work on a mod for Assetto Corsa based on the American United SportsCar Championship. They already posted a first set of previews and keep us updated with a new set showing us the progress of the Daytona Prototype Corvette. considering that the Kunos Simulazioni Development team did net yet release official modding tools for the Assetto Corsa simulator, this could be called an early attempt ad modding the popular platform. It needs to be said that by the looks of it, the IER Modding team is giving it their best to bring us some free quality content.
At this time the Corvette DP model is put in-game for testing purposes. The screenshots show you an early version with basic textures and material settings both on track and in the showroom. Nevertheless, it is already looking impressive, and things can only get better when the official info and tools are released.
