Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games have announced that the Black Falcon Team Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is making its debut in Assetto Corsa EVO.
Black Falcon Team Fanatec competes in the AT2 (Alternative Fuel) class of the 50th season of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), the ADAC Nürburgring 24h Qualifiers, and the ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring. The headliner 24h Nürburgring race will take place from May 14 to 17. Fans can expect regular behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the season.
The real-world project is bridging the gap between sim racing and real-world motorsport, featuring a lineup of world-renowned sim racing content creators, Steve Alvarez Brown, and Jimmy Broadbent, assisted by Nürburgring specialist content creator Misha Charoudin, and professional racing driver and former Nürburgring 24h winner (2016) Manuel Metzger.
The team name reflects the deep integration with Fanatec (Corsair), serving as a marketing and R&D platform. The project aims to prove that high-level sim racing preparation translates directly to success in one of the most dangerous and technical racing environments in the world.
The virtual Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) itself was part of the initial Early Access car list, and is now available wearing the official Black Falcon livery.
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
The 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992.2) marks a significant evolution for the world’s best-selling race car. Debuting as the mid-cycle update for the 992 generation, it introduces more power, refined aerodynamics, and simplified cockpit operations to maintain its dominance in the Porsche Supercup and various Carrera Cup series globally.
The German Racing machine is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that delivers up to 520 hp and 470 Nm Torque. All that power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Six-speed sequential dog-type gearbox operated via paddle shifters.
