Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games have introduced the new BMW M2 as part of the upcoming Version 0.5 update for Assetto Corsa Evo.
Besides the regular road-going model, the BMW M2 will also be available in M2 CS trim with the M Performance Parts package, featuring track-specific carbon fiber aerodynamic components.
There is currently no official confirmed release date for the Assetto Corsa Evo v0.5 update. However, based on the development roadmap and the release timing of previous updates, the community expects it to arrive in Early 2026. For now, enjoy some eyecandy showcasing the car in-game.
BMW M2:
The BMW M2 is the smallest and most agile member of the M-car lineup, designed specifically for enthusiasts who prioritize handling and driver engagement over raw size or luxury.
The 2025/2026 BMW M2 codenamed G87 is a high-performance, rear-wheel-drive compact coupe, powered by an S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, producing 353 kW (480 hp) and 550 Nm of torque (up to 600 Nm with automatic). The track-focused M2 CS (Competition Sport) pushes the power output to a staggering 523 hp.
All that power is transferred to the rear wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic or 6-speed manual gearbox and an active M differential. The Standard M2 can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in approximately 4.2s, while the M2 CS can go from0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in roughly 3.8 seconds.
