Assetto Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 confirmed

Kunos Simulazioni revealed the Ferrari 488 GT3 as the fifth car model in the upcoming Red Pack DLC for the Assetto Corsa racing simulator.  The Red Pack DLC will include seven legendary Italian sports car models and a laser scanned version of the Austrian RedBull Ring circuit.

The beautiful Ferrari 488 GT3 is the racing version of the road legal Ferrari 488 GTB and is the successor of the very successful Ferrari 458 GT3. The 488 is designed to compete in a selection of domestic and international GT3 championships. The Ferrari 488 GT3 is powered by a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine that delivers around 550 hp.

The included in-game screenshots show us the stunning detail of the Assetto Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 model. As usual, also the interior of the car is modeled to perfection and features a fully modeled cockpit and engine block.

So far, Kunos Simulazioni officially confirmed the Ferrari 488 GT3, 2015 Ferrari SF15-T and 2013 Ferrari F138 Formula One cars, the Lamborghini Aventador SV and the iconic Maserati 250F 6C. That leaves us with two more Red Pack cars to be revealed.

Assetto Corsa is already available for the PC (Steam) and will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console on August 26th in Europe and August 30th in North America.

The Red Pack DLC will be available for purchase this Thursday (July 14th) on the Steam platform and will later on become available for the home consoles.
