Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games proudly released the Early Access version of the Assetto Corsa Rally game.
This brand-new, standalone rally simulator, developed by Supernova Games in a technical partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, has been in development for 5 years.
Assetto Corsa Rally promises a state-of-the-art, dedicated rally simulation built on a foundation of cutting-edge technology and realism. All cars and tracks in the game are laser-scanned and CAD-modeled for unmatched accuracy.
The Early Access version of Assetto Corsa Rally features 10 officially licensed cars, blending rally icons with modern machines.
Highlights include the Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior Gr.2 (1972) and the Hyundai i20N Rally2 (2021). The lineup also includes the Mini Cooper S Gr.2 (1964), Citroën Xsara WRC (2001), Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4 (1976), Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally 16V Gr.4 (1973), Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO Gr. A (1992), Lancia Rally 037 EVO 2 Gr.B (1984), Peugeot 208 Rally4 (2020), and the iconic Lancia Stratos Gr.4 (1976).
Assetto Corsa Rally launches with four laser-scanned real-world rally stages. The Rally Alsace – Munster, Rally Alsace – Saverne, Rally Wales – Hafren South, and Rally Wales – Hafren North.
The rally simulator offers both offline gameplay modes and, gradually, throughout Early Access, online multiplayer. Every race takes place in a dynamic environment, where day-night cycles and changing weather conditions directly impact driving performance.
Temperature, humidity, surface type, and water progressively affect grip and vehicle response, making every stage feel unique. These elements are not mere visual effects but are integral to the physical simulation model, requiring drivers to demonstrate precision, sensitivity, and adaptability to master every situation.
Assetto Corsa Rally is available as an Early Access titlevia Steam for €23.99
Key Features:
Advanced Technology:
The proprietary physics engine developed by KUNOS Simulazioni has been adapted and refined to realistically simulate the unique dynamics of rally racing, including:
Jumps and uneven surfaces.
Slippery and variable road conditions.
Dynamic weather.
Realistic vehicle behavior across all types of terrain.
A key element is the use of laser scan technology for every stage in each rally event, enabling accurate reproduction of:
Real-world terrain formations.
Road surface irregularities and characteristics.
Details of the surrounding environment, like vegetation positioning
This approach – for the first time in the rally sim genre – delivers an unprecedented level of realism, deepening the authenticity of the driving experience.
In parallel, the team at Supernova has customized and optimized Unreal Engine 5 to the specific needs of racing games, ensuring high visual fidelity and performance.
