When the official modding section of the Assetto Corsa forum went live, The_meco & Pankykapus announced they where working on a scratch build Shelby Cobra mod for the Kunos Simulazioni title. From day one the previews of the model where indicating that this might just become a little jewel.

Today The_meco & Pankykapus released V0.1 of the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C for Assetto Corsa.

Known Issues:

• All cars are highest LOD WARNING may cause performance issues on lower end systems
• Fuel Consumption not yet set
• Damper setting still under development
• Some graphical detail are still WIP
• Sounds are placeholders and will be updated in the future

The_meco promised three versions of the iconic Shelby Cobra. The regular 427, the Semi/Competition or S/C and The Superformance S-1 roadster.

Assetto Corsa is being designed to provide a very realistic driving experience, with single player and multiplayer options, officially licensed cars and tracks developed using Laser scan technology, and the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing environments.
