Assetto Corsa URD Corvette C6.R ZR1 Beta released
Last year in November UnitedRacingDesigns released their Corvette C6.R ZR1 for rFactor 2. While we usually don’t post articles concerning payware mods, the URS Endurance Racing X payware mod Corvette was offered for free. rFactor 2 fans should check it out, since the quality of the mod/model is top notch.
When Assetto Corsa officially released its modding tools, Sandrox joined the URD team and started converting the URD Corvette C6.R ZR1 model for use in Assetto Corsa. He now released the first beta for you to download.

Replacing the Corvette C5-R, in 2005 the Chevrolet Corvette C6.R was a GT racing car built by Pratt & Miller and General Motors. The cars where engineered to compete GT1 class of the American Le Mans Series. The C6R’s also competed in the FIA GT Championship and the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In 2012 the GT1 car could no longer be used due to regulation changes. The GT2 version raced on until it was replaced by the new Chevrolet Corvette C7.R raced by Corvette Racing in the United SportsCar Championship GTLM class.
