Reiza Studios has posted a batch of preview screenshots showcasing the upcoming Historical Endurance Pack Pt2 DLC for Automobilista 2.
This new DLC will add a variety of new GT cars from both sides of the Atlantic to the popular historics category, including iconic GT racers such as the Ferrari 550 GTS Maranello, Lister Storm GT, Gillet Vertigo, Maserati GranSport Trofeo, and the Saleen S7R, to name a few.
Furthermore, Reiza is working on an updated wet weather system, improving the visuals and updating the shaders, particles, textures, and lighting. All this work should lead to more natural graphics, including smooth transitions from full saturation to damp conditions, which will eventually lead to forming a more distinct dry line. Check out the above preview video of a 10-lap wet weather race (set with 5x time progression) in which the dynamic track conditions evolve from a wet to a dry track.
The video also previews a dedicated wet line for the AI cars, meaning that the AI will now avoid the lower rubbered racing line, which becomes more slippery when wet. AI cars will also try to avoid standing water on the track. For demonstration purposes, the AI Skill was set to 108% at High Aggression.
Automobilista 2 is currently available via Steam for €18,49. The Automobilista 2 All-Inclusive Bundle is available for €127,89.
