Codemasters F1 2020 – The making of Circuit Zandvoort

Codemasters F1 2020 – The making of Circuit Zandvoort

Yesterday, Codemasters released the F1 2020 Seventy Edition game for the PlayStation4, Xbox One & Xbox One X, Windows PC (DVD and Steam), and Google Stadia.

The latest release in the F1 game franchise includes all 22 Circuits from the original 2020 season calendar, including this season’s newcomers Hanoi Circuit and the updated 2020 Circuit Zandvoort.

The Benelux division of F1 2020 publisher Koch Media, produced an interesting documentary, titled “Zandvoort in F1 2020, The making of -A race against time”.

In the documentary, we can have a look behind the scenes of the virtual track creation by Codemasters. The documentary is spiced up with some interesting anecdotes from former Dutch F1 driver Jan Lammers, and racing driver Hans Hugenholtz jr, who is the son of the Zandvoort track designer John Hugenholtz. ( Many might argue that Sydney Charles Houghton Davis was the rightful designer of the track)

In addition, Lee Mather, Codemasters’ Franchise Game Director, and Art Director Stuart Campbell share some exclusive footage of the main Codemasters F1 development hub in Birmingham UK.

The digital download PC versions of F1 2020 are available via Steam. The F1 2020 Seventy Edition can be purchased for 54,99€, while the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition has a 69,99€ pricetag.
