After the successful acquisition of the German Fanatec brand back in September 2024, the American computer peripherals company Corsair has now officially acquired the assets of the Melbourne-based simulator company Trak Racer, connecting two of the biggest names in simulation hardware under one banner.
Founded in 2008 by Australian Matt Sten, Trak Racer made its name in the sim racing and flight sim world with products ranging from entry-level rigs to professional-grade cockpits, and a huge selection of accessories. Trak Racer also partnered with the Alpine Formula 1 Team in an effort to increase visibility in the competitive and increasingly popular world of Esports.
