Codemasters released the final location of the DiRT Rally 2.0 Season 2 content, in the form of the German Estering rallycross track.

The Estering is a permanent motor racing circuit for rallycross competitions in Buxtehude, located about 35 km southwest of Hamburg, Germany. The Estering hosted its first Rallycross event in 1972 and is characterized by its thick gravel sections, difficult Joker Lap and high speed straight, one of the few places where Rallycross cars can reach their top speed. The track draws a large crowd each year and is acknowledged to be a true fan favorite.

In the featured video, DiRT Rally 2.0 Game Director Ross Gowing gives insight on how the Estering course was made, and we can watch as Codemasters in-house rally driver Jon Armstrong takes on the RX circuit in-game.

The Estering circuit is accessible in-game through My Team, Custom Championships, the FIA World Rallycross Championship game mode, and Time Trial. If you are already in an active Championship you’ll have to either complete or abandon it in order to have Estering become selectable in the next one.

Estering is available as part of the DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition, the DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Content Pack and as standalone DLC on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Deluxe Content owners also have access to every other car and location released in Seasons 1 and 2, as well as regular in-game Credit bonuses, exclusive liveries, and special events. If you’re not a DiRT Season owner the location is available to purchase individually.
