Today the 2020 F1 championship came to an end with the 2020 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Yas Marina GP Circuit.

After 55 laps of racing at the 5.554-kilometer Yas Marina Circuit, the season finale was won by polesitter Max Verstappen in his RB16, with Lewis Hamilton winning the F1 Drivers’ Championship for the seventh time, and Mercedes winning the 2020 World Constructors’ Championship.

Since no real sim racing news has surfaced today, it is the perfect time to post some F1 2020 in-game screenshots representing the 2020 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Codemasters have done a wonderful job, with the visuals of their 2020 edition of the Official Formula One Championship game franchise. Bring on the next one.

Lewis Hamilton 2020 F1 Drivers' Champion

The Yas Marina Circuit is situated on Yas Island, about 30 minutes from the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi. In 2006, plans were announced to develop Yas Island, into a new tourist destination, with a major part of the plans centring around a Formula 1 race track. The builders started working on the track in May 2007.

In October 2009, the circuit was granted final approval to hold Formula One races, and so the FIA Grade 1 circuit became the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The GP track has a length of 5.5 km, with the longest straight being 1.14 km, and an elevation change of 10.7 m. The lap record was set in 2019 by Lewis Hamilton who did a lap in 1:39.283.
