EA Sports and Codemasters have deployed update v1.25 for F1 25, the official video game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Update V1.25 is part of the post-launch 2026 Season Pack content rollout for F1 25. The update introduces several major additions, visual adjustments, gameplay tweaks, and hardware support updates. Check out the full changelog below.
Update Highlights:
2026 F2 Championship: The complete 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship has been added, bringing all official cars, drivers, and teams into the game.
F1 Sports Update: The F1 grid receives a visual and branding refresh to match the real-world 2026 season. This includes updated sponsor logos, revised Team Principals, and special edition liveries delivered straight to player mailboxes.
2026 Regulation Adjustments:
- Boost Mode: Can now be used in wet conditions (though with reduced deployment power).
- Straight Mode & DRS: Now require the driver’s throttle input to be above 90% to remain active, preventing them from staying on if a driver lifts substantially.
- Race Control & Telemetry: Corrected timing for the “Overtake Enabled” message and added it to external UDP data outputs.
Car & Track Visual Fixes: Adjusted the 2026 Red Bull steering wheel position, corrected front suspension geometry on the Aston Martin and Haas models, updated Franco Colapinto’s rev-light pattern, and fixed sponsor logo overlaps on liveries.
Career Mode Updates: Tyre allocations for select 2026 F1 race weekends have been refreshed. Completing an F2 career season now grants bonus Recognition when transitioning to F1, and various interface/Pitcoin display bugs have been resolved.
Hardware & Wheel Support: Expanded support for SIMAGIC hardware (including P500/P700 pedals and various Zeus wheels/hubs), alongside stability fixes for players running mixed MOZA and Simucube setups. Force feedback frame-rate bottlenecks and steering input-to-physics matching were also fine-tuned.
On top of all this, seven special liveries will arrive across three September drops. Here is the full list of updates:
SEP 9-OCT 14
- Racing Bulls – Suzuka
- Audi – Monaco
- Cadillac – Silverstone
SEP 11-OCT 14
