Fuji International Speedway

Total Length, 4,563m; Elevation Change, 40m; Number of corners, 16; Longest Straight, 1475m

Arguably one of the most picturesque tracks in the world, the Fuji International Speedway is located close to Japan’s most famous natural landmark, Mt. Fuji. Opened in 1961, Fuji quickly earned a reputation for being one of the fastest and most dangerous tracks in the world, home to many legendary battles.
The first half of the track is very fast, with a front straight that stretches 1.5km followed by a series of mid- to high-speed corners. The second half runs uphill and is more technical in nature. Because the characteristics of the track vary from the first half to the second, car setup is very important. Most races are run in the F configuration, but there is also a GT shortcut layout, which is included in the game.
