Gran Turismo Sport Update V1.61 Deployed

Polyphony Digital deployed Update V1.61 for the PlayStation 4-exclusive Gran Turismo Sport title. This month’s update is more of a small patch (184.4MB) bringing the users a few small tweaks and a minor Livery Editor feature.

Back in June, during the “PS5 – The Future of Gaming”  live stream show, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and GT series creator Kazunori Yamauchi officially announced Gran Turismo 7 for the Playstation 5. We can only assume that the bulk of the workforce at Polyphony Digital, is now working on the next-gen GT7 project, resulting in lesser and smaller GT Sport updates.

Main Features Implemented

• 1. Livery Editor – The Pilot Sport logo from Michelin’s high-performance sports tires is now available. To access the new tire sticker, select “Wheel” and “Tire Sticker” (Standard Sticker) in the Livery Editor.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

• Balance adjustments have been made to the slipstream setting “Real.”
• Various other issues have been addressed.
