Heusinkveld Revealed The New DisplayDash

Heusinkveld DisplayDash

The Dutch Heusinkveld Engineering company has revealed a new quality Sim Racing product, in the form of the Heusinkveld  DisplayDash. This hybrid sim-racing peripheral combines the premium physical controls of a button-box with the flexibility of an integrated Digital Dashboard Unit (DDU).

Alongside the Touchscreen Display that is capable of providing real-time data, such as speed, gear, RPM, lap times, track maps, and more, the unit also features an arsenal of physical controls, including:

  • 12 Push-Rotary Encoders: Knobs that can be twisted (for incrementing/decrementing values like Traction Control) and pushed (to toggle functions).
  • 4 Physical Push Buttons: For standard toggle functions.
  • 1 Seven-Way Switch: Likely for menu navigation (Up/Down/Left/Right/Rotate/Push).
DisplayDash contextual labels

Interestingly, the product addresses a common pain point in sim racing. The DisplayDash can remember what specific buttons do when switching between different cars or simulators. The standout feature of the DisplayDash is its ability to “contextually” label its physical knobs and buttons.

  • Digital Labels: Above each physical rotary or button, the screen displays the current function of that specific control (e.g., “Brake Bias,” “TC,” “ABS,” “Wipers”).
  • Real-Time Updates: If you switch from a GT3 car to a Formula car, or adjust a setting in software, the text above the button updates automatically. It displays not just the label, but real-time values (e.g., showing “ABS: 4” directly above the ABS knob).

The device is fully compatible with the famed SimHub software, letting the user customize various aspects of the unit, such as layouts, button mapping, and the configurable RGB LEDs.

The DisplayDash connects to a PC via a single USB-C cable. However, the device features a 2-port USB hub, allowing you to daisy-chain other Sim Racing peripherals.

On the rear of the stylish housing made of high-end composites, you will find a standard VESA 100×100 mounting pattern, making it easy to attach to an aluminum profile rig or monitor stand.

The new DisplayDash Telemetry Display/Button box is scheduled to be released this spring. However, visitors of this year’s Sim Formula Europe event held at the MECC Maastricht, The Netherlands, from 15–18 January 2026, will have the opportunity to test a working prototype of the unit.

While the official price has not yet been revealed, Heusinkveld has hinted that the price will be approximately €300.00 + shipping.
