Next week, iRacing will roll out the 2025 Season 4 build of its racing simulation. The update will introduce the Aston Martin Vantage EVO GT3 to the online racing service.
To get everyone excited, iRacing shared a few in-game screenshots of the British GT3 car in action on the track.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO is the latest evolution of the British manufacturer’s GT racing platform, succeeding the successful Vantage GTE and GT3 cars that debuted in 2018. The Vantage EVO GT3 made its global race debut at the 2024 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. It also competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Fanatec GT World Challenge, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Nürburgring 24 Hours, and the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours.
Developed as a collaboration between Aston Martin Racing (AMR) and Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT), the car is designed to be highly competitive and accessible for both professional and amateur drivers. The “EVO” update was a complete overhaul of the car’s aerodynamics, featuring a new nose-to-tail aero package to increase stability and downforce. Also, the suspension has been comprehensively revised to address the “diving” under braking that was a characteristic of the previous model.
The Vantage EVO GT3 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which is derived from the street-legal Vantage road car. The engine produces roughly 535 bhp and 685-700 Nm of torque. However, the implementation of individual Balance of Performance rules might result in more or less power.
All that power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential Xtrac transmission that is operated via paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
