iRacing – Lime Rock Park – Then & Now

Together with the upcoming December Build, iRacing will release a new scratch build version of the Lime Rock Park circuit.

In the latest official iRacing video, we can compare both the 2004 pre-release and the 2008 release versions, to the upcoming updated 2019 version of the track. As with most iRacing content, this popular track has come a long way, and we are sure that it will be a blast to race with preferably the less powerful cars.

Lime Rock Park is a motorsport road racing venue located in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States, a hamlet in the town of Salisbury, in the state’s northwest corner. The circuit was built in 1956, and is, therefore, the nation’s third oldest continuously operating road racing venue, behind Road America (1955) and Willow Springs International Motorsports Park(1953). The relatively short track is 1.50 mi (2.41 km) long and has 7 turns.
