iRacing has deployed the 2026 Season 2 build, bringing us some exciting new content. We could already check out the promo video for the revamped Barber Motorsports Park. Now let’s check out the St. Petersburg Street Circuit, the RAM NASCAR Truck, and the Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR.

St. Petersburg Street Circuit

The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is a world-class temporary street circuit located along the scenic waterfront of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Since 2003, it has traditionally served as the season-opening venue for the IndyCar Series, transforming a relaxed coastal district into a high-octane motorsport arena.

The street circuit is famous for its hybrid design, combining the smooth, wide expanses of an airport runway with the tight, technical challenges of urban streets. The 1.8-mile layout features 14 turns and utilizes a runway of Albert Whitted Airport as the main front straightaway.

Alongside the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, which traditionally serves as the season opener for the NTT IndyCar Series, the track also welcomed support series such as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the USF2000 Championship, and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup. The track was first used for racing in 1985, hosting the SCCA Trans-Am Series.

RAM NASCAR Truck

The Ram 1500 is currently the newest manufacturer entry in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, having made its highly anticipated return to the grid for the 2026 season. This marks the first time since 2012 that the brand (formerly under the Dodge banner) has provided official factory support to the series.

Unlike the production models, the race truck uses the Ilmor NT1 spec engine. This 396 cubic-inch (6.5L) naturally aspirated V8 engine produces approximately 650 to 700 horsepower, and 500 lb-ft of Torque.

Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR

The Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR is a professional touring race car introduced in 2021 as the successor to one of the most successful customer racing cars in history. Built to compete in global TCR-spec championships, the Gen2 offers significant improvements in safety, serviceability, and ergonomics over its predecessor.

The Gen2 is powered by the fourth-generation EA888 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Interestingly, to comply with TCR Balance of Performance (BoP) regulations, its peak output is slightly lower than the Gen1, focusing instead on a broader power band and improved cooling.

The engine puts out up to 340 hp (250 kW) and 420 Nm (approx. 310 lb-ft) Torque. All that power is transferred to the front wheels via a Hewland 6-speed sequential gearbox.
