New partnership anounced – RUF Porsche.

iRacing´s Steve Myers hinted  a new Partnership between iRacing and RUF Porsche.

On his twitter page he just about confirmed this wonderful news.
This will probably result in a virtual version of the Rt 12 R . Steve has been hinting the partnership using the picture of this model.

The 3.8 litre bi-turbo boxer engine delivers 537 kW (730 bhp) of power with a maximum torque figure of 940 Nm. A six speed manual gearbox deals with the power transmission and the 4WD system ensures optimal traction under all driving conditions. Rear wheel drive can be ordered as an option for the brave

For more than 70 years the name RUF has been associated with competence in the automotive industry.

In 1939 Alois Ruf senior founded the company “AUTO-RUF” as a general service garage in Pfaffenhausen, Southern Allgäu region.

 

After the Second World War a gas station was added. In 1955 Ruf expanded again with a separate bus company.

In the 60s the company gained invaluable experience by servicing and restoring Porsches.
