Inside Sim Racing presents the Wyatt Gooden seminar on iRacing road racing basics at the 2016 iRace4Life event that took place in April of this year.  During the seminar session, Wyatt drives the iRacing Formula Renault 2.0 at the virtual Donington park track and shares some racing tips and answers some very interesting questions from the attendees.

Wyatt Gooden is an American iRacer and racing driver who was the first iRacing member to earn a manufacturer-funded ride in a real-world racing series by winning the iRacing TDI Cup Virtual Series in iRacing.com. (www.wyattgooden.com)

He managed victories in two races that year and was ultimately named Rookie of the Year. The following year he starred in a documentary on the Discovery channel. Since 2011 Wyatt has been competing in professional formula car competition. After winning all four F1600 series races he competed in with Quantum Racing Services, he became a finalist for the Team USA Scholarship, as well as being ranked the #1 Formula Ford driver in the united states.

Wyatt Gooden is leading the way in using both the Internet and racing simulators to help the next generation of racecar drivers hone their skills, without ever having to go to the track. Gooden, who cut his racing teeth at the Championship Kart Racing Association’s track at Thompson Drag Raceway, moved on to the SCCA’s Volkswagen TDI series after winning a computer simulated racing series hosted by iRacing.com. He took home Rookie of the Year in that series, moving on to successful races in both the F1600 and F2000 Series.
