iRacing.com already had the Silverstone circuit in its track portfolio. However, it was based on an old laser scan representing the Previous iteration of the British Grand Prix venue.

It was not a secret that iRacing already re-scanned the modern version of the track a few years ago, but never shared a build/release schedule for it. Last week iRacing officially announced that the track was ready to be released together with the upcoming iRacing build. Today, iRacing published a new teaser video showing us the first in-game footage of the re-scanned version of the track.

The iRacing Silverstone Circuit will be available in June as a new purchase for $14.95. However, whoever purchased the existing Silverstone in the last 24 months (as of the build date) will receive a credit of $14.95. The existing Silverstone will be made a free track and granted to everyone.
