Le Mans Ultimate Gameplay Video - Ferrari 499P Onboard Lap At Monza

As they had promised yesterday, Motorsport Games and developer Studio 397 have released an impressive Le Mans Ultimate gameplay trailer showcasing a lap around the Italian Autodromo Nazionale Monza in the cockpit of the Ferrari 499P Hypercar.

Jump onboard the Ferrari 499P Hypercar around Monza! This onboard lap of the Ferrari 499P Hypercar at Monza was driven on a Controller Gamepad. For any race team, testing is vital to help dial the car into a circuit and to test different parameters and set-ups on cars but also hardware.

Le Mans Ultimate is no different, in the pursuit of realism and an engaging realistic experience for as many users as possible. To attain the high standards of visuals, physics, and performance required for such a model, for several months, Studio 397 has been collaborating closely with Ferrari, working with the development team to validate progress by giving regular and positive feedback with the manufacturers’ engineers, Ferrari’s own esports team and real-life WEC drivers.

Head of Studio 397, Dom Duhan, commented: Having the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of individuals at Ferrari, which is of course is one of the most well-known brands in the world, has been a pleasure. Our technical collaboration has allowed us to replicate the intricacies of the real-world car and without Ferrari’s engineering and dedicated input, it would undoubtedly have been a bigger challenge to bring the 499P to life. This is the first appearance of this Le Mans-winning car in sim racing and gaming, another world-first for the Studio.

Le Mans Ultimate will feature (some or all) official cars and circuits of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship WEC season, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans as its headline event. The cars list will consist of Hypercars from Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche, and Toyota, alongside all the cars of the 2023 full-season WEC championship. You can expect high-fidelity models of iconic tracks such as Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Fuji, and of course the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Initially scheduled to become available on PC somewhere in December 2023, the release date, was pushed back to 20 February 2024. Motorsport Games will later on evaluate a possible console release in 2024.
