Back in August after a new round of funding, Australian studio Black Delta, lead by CEO Zach Griffin announced the new kart racing game/Simulator called KartKraft.

In essence, KartKraft is the continuation of the former KartSim Solo project by Zach Griffin. Since the announcement, the development team has made some progress, and sshared a new set of in-game screenshots showing off the lighting effects, weather effects and the highly detailed track enviroment of KarttKraft.

Furthermore, the game will also feature officialy licensed contents such as the 2015 Praga Karts Dragon Evo with the 22hp IAME / Remo Racin KA100 motor and the laser scanned Geelong Karting Club circuit in Melbourne, Australia as seen in the screenshots. We can also expect the first preview KartKraft trailer video soon. This trailer will showcase the first ever video footage of the game since the development team switched to the Unreal Engine 4.

Black Delta announced that the releasedate will be postponed until the first quarter of 2016 in order to add even more additional features, improvements and optimisations. It is also rumored that an open Beta will become available during this month.
