As preparation for the upcoming V8 Power Pack DLC, Straight4 Studios released Update V2.2.1.0 for Project Motor Racing. If all goes as planned, the update and the new DLC should be deployed on September 15th on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The DLC is included as part of the Year-1 Season Pass and will be available as a standalone purchase.
The V8 Power Pack DLC will deliver nine legendary V8 race cars across three classes, spanning modern Australian touring-car muscle, current American machinery, and the raw roots of historic US road racing, all racing together at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Across all three classes, the appeal is simple: big V8 power, rear-wheel drive, and no traction control, ABS, or electronic aids. The pack takes players from the heroic days of American muscle-car road racing through purpose-built modern USV8 machinery and into contemporary AUS V8 Evo competition, all with the driver firmly at the centre of the experience.
