RaceRoom Racing Experience – updated Road Surface Feedback

As we could already see in a video posted a while ago, Wojtek aka Feels3 used the SimXperience Motion Simulator of collegue 6e66o to test a new track surface for RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E). Now the development team explains that a lot of work went into this enhancement during the last few months, and that the major part of the programming work finished.
The RaceRoom track artists have been working hard trying to improve the presentation and feedback from the road surface, by using CAD and telemetry data. The results is a much more detailed road surface that will do a better job translating small bumps and surface imperfections to the Force Feedback system.
There is already a list of tracks announced that will feature this new technology. The good news is that they may already be updated in the next R3E update. At this time the Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Lausitzring, Zandvoort and the Red Bull Ring will be the first tracks to receive the update. The dev team also states that more circuits will follow.
To enhance the feedback even more, the new R3E car releases will be feature updated physics while the existing cars will be upgraded over time.
older content will be updated over coming R3E releases.
