Sector3 Studios promised us that 3 Porsche cars would be added to the RaceRoom racing simulator before the end of the year, and it seems that they still stand by their word.

Today, Sector3 Studios officially confirmed the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup as the first of three Porsche racing cars that are part of the Porsche DLC which will become available together with the upcoming RaceRoom patch. Sector3 Studios stated they will reveal the other two Porsche models coming to RaceRoom in the coming days.

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Model 991 II)

The Porsche 911 GT3 is the most-produced and most-sold GT racing car in the world. The new 911 GT3 Cup which replaces the model that debuted in 2013 is campaigned in the 2017 race season, initially exclusively in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup held alongside the Formula 1 races, and in the German and North American Porsche Carrera Cup. As of 2018, the car will also be available for other customer team race series around the world.

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (model 991 II) is powered by a 4-liter, six-cylinder flat engine with direct fuel injection that delivers 357 kW (485 hp). A race-ready Porshe 911 GT3 Cup can be purchased for roughly 189,900 euros excluding country-specific VAT.
