Sector3 Studios will release the highly anticipated 2018 FIA WTCR DLC for RaceRoom in sync with their next build update. The WTCR addon pack will feature all the teams and cars running in the 2018 FIA WTCR Championship.

The 2018 FIA WTCR DLC for RaceRoom will include all seven car models racing in the championship. The past few days, Sector3 Studios already revealed five of them. Today we can admire number six on the list. The Hyundai i30 N TCR. This only leaves the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR to complete the list.

In line with the TCR regulations, the Hyundai Motorsport i30 N TCR is powered by a transverse mounted 2-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection which delivers around 350 hp. The power is transferred to the front wheels via a pneumatic paddle-shift operated, 6-speed sequential gearbox with external preload adjustment.

The FIA World Touring Car Cup, also known as the FIA WTCR presented by Oscaro is an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The 2018 World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) takes over from the World Touring Car Championship and adopts the TCR technical regulations, though it will be the 14th overall season of the series that dates from the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.

The change of name and new rules follow the declining interest in the TC1 regulations used by the World Touring Car Championship between 2014 and 2017 and the growing interest among manufacturers in the TCR touring car category.
