RaceRoom - Portimao Circuit Rebuild Coming In A Free Update

KW Studios announced that the RaceRoom track dev team has been hard at work rebuilding the already available Portimao Circuit from the ground up, featuring big improvements on the circuit layout and the visual fidelity of the track.

The updated track will be soon available for free as part of a future update. Keep in mind that the supplied preview video is recorded from a work in progress.

The Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, better known as Portimao, is a 4.653 km (2.891 mi) race circuit located in Portimão, Algarve region, of Portugal. The track has been in use since 2008. It features a good mix of corners, including fast-flowing ones and tight hairpins, that provide a thrilling experience for both drivers and spectators.

The track returned to the Formula 1 calendar for the 2020 and 2021 seasons as part of the revised F1 schedule. Besides the Portuguese GP, the MotoGP, World SBK, ELMS, DTM, TCR Europe, and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals were part of the Portimao event calendar. Alongside the main circuit, the venue boasts modern facilities designed to cater to various motorsport needs, including a karting track, an off-road track, and a technology park.

First released back in February 2013, out of the ashes of a well-regarded racing game developer, SimBin Studios, the core RaceRoom Racing Experience racing simulator is Free-To-Play and can be installed from this Steam link, with commercial add-ons available via the RaceRoom Store.
