KW Studios has announced that they will change the content of the Online Racing Pack for RaceRoom Racing Experience.
Due to an expired licensing agreement, the North American WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca track will be replaced by Sonoma Raceway. Also, the BMW M2 CS will be removed in favour of the more popular BMW M235i. For Online Racing Pack owners, this means that a new version of the pack will appear in the store. If you already own the current Online Racing Pack, you’ll be able to pick up Sonoma + the BMW M235i with a significant discount.
Alongside the content pack changes, KW Studios also stated that the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will be back as purchasable content. Since the middle of 2024, the track has been absent from the RaceRoom store because of a failed licensing renewal.
Now, KW Studios has communicated that they have reached a new agreement enabling them to bring the world-famous Belgian GP circuit back to the RaceRoom track portfolio. Most likely, the track will receive some significant updates, bringing it up to spec with its real-world counterpart.
No official release date was mentioned, but the track is expected to become available very soon.
