RaceRoom Racing Experience – Q1 2026 Update Coming March 24, 2026

RaceRoom

KW Studios has announced that the upcoming Q1 2026 update for RaceRoom Racing Experience is scheduled for release on March 24, 2026.

Following its 2025 graphical overhaul, this substantial update will feature new content and quality-of-life updates, continuing the sim’s recent development momentum. Content-wise, the update will bring us three new cars (including an entry-level electric cup car) and three new tracks. Furthermore, the update will introduce a significant “quality of life” fix for steering wheel users and HUD Refinements.

Notably, this update also confirms the expiration of the Ferrari license. While existing owners will keep their Ferrari content, it will no longer be available for purchase in the RaceRoom store.

Update Highlights:

New cars:

  • Alpine A110 Cup: This arrives as 100% free content for all users. It is designed as an entry-level spec racer with approachable handling.
  • Alpine A110 GT4+: A more powerful, high-downforce variant of the Alpine, sitting in the GTR4 category alongside rivals like the BMW M4 GT4 and Porsche 718 Cayman.
  • LRT NXT1: RaceRoom’s first all-electric “tin-top” racer. Based on the Mini Cooper SE, it features front-wheel drive and a Push-to-Pass system, modeled with advanced PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures for its cockpit.

New Tracks:

  • Spa-Francorchamps (Modern): A completely modern version of the Belgian circuit. To celebrate the launch, it will be available at a 50% discount for a limited time.
  • Vallelunga: The classic Italian circuit makes its debut with its high-speed, technical flow.
  • Adria International Raceway: Since this track no longer exists in reality, KW Studios is preserving it digitally by including both the 2003 and 2021 layouts.

Technical & UI Improvements

  • New Steering Angle System: This is a major quality-of-life fix. You no longer need to manually match your wheel’s software rotation to the car’s lock. You set your maximum rotation once, and the game automatically synchronizes the steering lock for every car in the library.
  • HUD Refinement: The in-game HUD receives an upgraded driver label system and fresh customization controls, moving closer to the modern aesthetic introduced in the Ranked Multiplayer menus.
