WRC 9 Update Features 120Hz Performance Mode

French video game developer Kylotonn/KT Racing and Publisher NACON have deployed a new update across all platforms for WRC9 the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship.

PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can download the Esports WRC Update, preparing for the Season 6 of the Esports WRC Championship.

Also the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions receive the new update, alongside the content from the December Update that includes the Toyota GR Yaris WRC concept, New Rally Portugal Stages, Co-Driver Mode, Steering Wheels compatibility fixes, and more.

The most noticeable update for the next-gen consoles is the awaited 120 Hz High Visual Quality Mode. The Xbox Series S consoles can now run at 1440p/30fps, or the regular 1080p/60fps mode. Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X now supports the dynamic 4K/60fps mode or you can select a High Quality 4K/30fps mode.

Note: Also the dreaded error 4:12 should now be fixed via a new hotfix (v.1.0.42.8) witch is downloadable from the Epic Games Store.

The PC version of the WRC 9 game is available as a Digital Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a Physical Standard Edition. The digital edition is available via the Epic Game Store for €49.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition is available for €59.99.
