A Look At The BuildSim F-1000S Sim Racer Simulator
Recently, the BuildSim company based in the north-east of Italy introduced their F-1000S Sim Racer Simulator cockpit.
The F-1000S Sim Racer is a handmade fiberglass monocoque for sim racing use. The use of the latest composite materials and new techniques have resulted in a very rigid, yet lightweight design. The entire chassis, including the seat, weighs in at 33kg. With a footprint of only 1760mm by 630mm, the cockpit can be used in small spaces.
Inside the monocoque is equipped with a steering wheel support bracket, pedal plate, and footrest. The pedal plate is designed to support a simple installation method and good accessibility. The pedal bay can be reached via side openings in the chassis and via the removable front nose door. For those who need to perform frequent adjustments, BuildSim has an optional electric pedal adjust available.
The quality polyurethane foam formula seat can be adjusted to your personal preference. (Up to 3 positions and 7,9° of inclination)
Single monitors, with a stand of max. 52cm can be placed directly on the chassis, and therefore need no extra screen stand.
