Sim racing can be really affordable or extremely overpriced. While I usually keep an eye out for the realistically priced products, let’s now imagine you have just won the lottery…
The Italian Racing Unleashed company, based in Maranello, designs and manufactures professional-grade racing simulators, including both GT and Formula models.
As is often with luxury items, no real in-depth product details are shared, but let’s have a look anyway.
The newest model is the Racing Unleashed GT Simulator, which is hand-built using high-quality materials, with a focus on blending performance engineering with striking design, replicating the feeling, aggression, control, and precision of GT racing (supercars/sportscars).
The cockpit is built around an aluminium tube chassis and composite bodywork. The exterior of the Sim cockpit is designed by an Italian coachbuilder, giving it a sharp, muscular, and aerodynamic look, featuring integrated LED matrix lights. The bodywork can be fully customised to match personal taste or brand identity.
The chassis sits on a Degrees of Freedom (3DOF) Motion System. This triple-axis motion platform translates virtual forces (bumps, curbs, gear shifts, drifts) into full-body feedback for maximum realism.
Furthermore, the Racing Unleashed GT Simulator is fitted with a Full carbon-fiber, GT-style wheel with magnetic shifters and an integrated LED display. The custom-built pedal set features hydraulic components, designed for high-performance feedback and precise control. Optional upgrades such as a manual gear shift and active pedals are available.
The unit comes with an adjustable, high-end Sabelt Ergonomically contoured, harness-ready racing seat to cater to both immersion and comfort.
The GT simulator is available for sale to private collectors and can be booked for use in Racing Unleashed’s premium Racing Lounges located in various cities across Europe (Zurich, Munich, and Madrid.
As usual, the pricing of these high-end luxury products is somewhat of a jungle, but it is officially stated that the price starts at €69468.00.
