Asetek Invicta Sim Racing Pedals

The Danish Asetek company was founded as a private company by André Eriksen in 1997 and became incorporated in 2000. Asetek took to the gaming market introducing new cooling solutions for CPUs, graphics cards, chipsets, hard drives, and standalone tower servers.

Innovations included many industry firsts, ranging from AIO liquid coolers, vapor chamber technology, unique pump systems, split-flow cold plates, and software to enable the community to monitor and manipulate their cooling systems.

In 2021, Asetek ventured into the growing gaming market for sim racing hardware and software, introducing its Invicta Sim Racing Pedals. Invicta is the Latin word for ’undefeated’ or ’unconquered’. A nice choice of name indeed.

The Invicta Sim Racing Pedals will initially become available as a throttle and brake pedal kit, and an optional add-on clutch pedal, along with custom-made RaceHub software that will let you quickly calibrate and fine-tune the pedal settings. The Invicta pedal base with integrated heel stop features a cool RGB LED strip that lets you customize the colors or completely turn it off.

Features:

  • Unique Twin Hydraulic Opposing Rapid Pistons (T.H.O.R.P) brake system design (Patent pending) – designed to give the ultimate immersion, with the feel of a real race car – while also looking super sleek on your rig!
  • Brake pedal hardness can be adjusted from a soft arcade feeling with extended travel to formula car mode hard pedal with minimal travel and true car feeling
  • RaceHub software that makes every task a breeze. Whether it is configuring your clutch bite point, calibrating deadzones, customizing throttle curves or updating firmware – expect an experience that will revolutionize what sim racing can be
  • Tried and tested for hundreds of hours by real world drivers (Formula and GT) and sim racing pros. Lifetime tested in automated mechanical rigs for over a million activations
  • Clutch designed to provide a proper physical bite point
  • Highly adjustable to help you channel your inner race car driver
  • User-replaceable pedal plates. Launching with plates for ultimate grip with more options to be available later, including sock-friendly versions

The Invicta pedals will be available for purchase in Q4 2021 with pricing to be revealed later this year.

In addition to the Invicta pedals, Asetek will also offer replaceable pedal plates suitable for users racing without shoes. In the near future, Asetek is also planning to release wheelbases, steering wheels, shifters, and other end-user customization options.

I will keep you posted when more details become available.

Pagani and Asetek SimSports Licensing Deal

Also, recently Asetek announced a licensing, marketing, and product deal with exclusive hypercar brand Pagani Automobili, in order to develop a number of upcoming custom-design limited editions of Pagani-licensed SimRacing products within the premium racing simulator market.

Mr. Eriksen recently brought a prototype of the Huayra R-technology based simulator equipment to our Atelier in Modena and it was obvious from the quality, design, and attention to detail, that we are aligned in our thinking.

We are excited to be partnering with Asetek to bring sim racers and car enthusiasts around the world the emotion and excitement of driving one of our hypercars, giving them the chance to be virtually immersed in the Pagani Brand, said Michael Staskin, CEO of Pagani Automobili America, This is just the beginning of what will be a line of product yielding ultra-realistic experiences that will help to grow the next generation of Pagani owners.

As far back as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by Pagani. I am a big car and racing enthusiast and I hope to be fortunate enough to one day own my own Pagani. The attention to detail, the designs inspired by Horacio’s commitment to art and science working hand in hand combined with groundbreaking performance, basically everything Pagani stands for are personal values of mine.

As such, when selecting a partner for our SimSports racing products, I wanted to start at the top of the top and Pagani was the obvious choice, said André Sloth Eriksen, CEO, and founder of Asetek. We are thrilled to be working with Pagani as we bring to market the epitome of premium SimSports racing products based on real Pagani technology. In addition to being a licensing deal, Pagani will use its extensive reach to market and sell our custom-designed Pagani-branded SimRacing gear.
