Another day, another Assetto Corsa Evo Version 0.7 teaser. Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games introduced the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II as part of the upcoming update.
In case you missed it, check out the Datsun 240Z , the 2018 Porsche 935, and the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport Evo Kit, which will also be released alongside Update version 0.7. So far, the developer has not yet confirmed an official release date for the 0.7 AC Evo Update, but it is rumoured to become available early to mid-June 2026.
Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II
The Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II is a high-performance customer racing car developed by Audi Sport for participation in worldwide FIA GT3-regulated sports car championships. The Evo II is the latest and most advanced version of the second-generation R8 LMS platform, which debuted in the 2022 racing season.
Where its ancestors were all about peak aerodynamic performance, the Evo II was designed by Audi with a heavy focus on drivability, predictability, and consistency, making it more forgiving to amateur and “gentleman” drivers without sacrificing its competitive edge in sprint and endurance racing.
The R8 LMS GT3 Evo II is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated mid-mounted V10 that produces up to 585 hp (430 kW), and over 550 Nm of torque, regulated by Balance of Performance (BoP). All this power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential performance transmission with paddle shifters.
