Reiza Studios has posted a new video, showcasing several of the ongoing AI advancements that will be included in the upcoming Automobilista 2 update.
The video shows us a single-player race with the Formula V10 Gen2 at the Spa-Francorchamps 2005 GP track. The Development team worked on the enhanced performance calibration in changing conditions, enhanced AI overtaking, defending, and general dogfighting skills.
You can expect an enhanced awareness of the surroundings and a more human-like flow of movement from the AI drivers in AMS2 . Furthermore, the AI drivers will use a more complex AI throttle and braking logic and a higher likelihood of AI errors brought on by high-risk/high-stress situations.
The video also showcases some further refinements to the tire physics, drafting effect, environment, and car visuals and audio. The (Preview) Spa Francorchamps 2005 layout used is one of three 2005-era race tracks featuring in the upcoming Historical Track Pack Pt3.
