Fanatec CSL Steering Wheel P1 for Xbox One Released

Last week Thomas Jackermeier of Fanatec posted a teaser picture revealing a blurred image of a new upcoming Fanatec Racing wheel. Many community members including ourselves, thought that this would most probably be a stand alone budget friendly Xbox wheel. Now it becomes clear we were wrong.

Today Fanatec released the new CSL Steering Wheel P1 add-on rim for Xbox One that is the first component of the a new CSL series of products. The rim is compatible with the ClubSport Wheel Base and ClubSport Wheel Base V2, enabling  Xbox One compatibility to the mentioned wheelbase units.

The CSL Wheel P1 has a wheel diameter of 30 cm, and only weights 1170 g wich will have a very positive impact on the force feedback response. The rim features a combination of a center stripe and shift light. A multicolor LED shows you the revs of your engine while another LED lights up the center stripe on the rim letting you keep track of the middle of the wheel rim when it is moving fast.

Fanatec also integrated a Tuning LED display on top of the rim so you can see telemetry data while driving. Furthermore, the P1 is fitted with shifter paddles and a new quick release system that is compatible to all wheelbases of the ClubSport and CSL series.

The CSL P1 Steering Wheel for Xbox One is already available at www.Fanatec.com with immediate delivery in several countries and at a price of 149,95 € or 139,95 USD.
