Fanatec Forza Motorsport Racing Wheel announced

Fanatec officially announced a new upcoming Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Rim. This new GT Style rim is official Forza Motorsport-branded making it a product aimed at the Xbox One market. Nevertheless, the product is also fully compatible with the PS4, PS3, and the PC.

The wheel will become available as a standalone rim, and as a rim/universal hub combination.

The luxury 330 mm metal wheel rim is covered with smooth, automotive grade leather and is featuring a stitched Forza Motorsport logo. To make sure the wheel complies to the needs of Forza Motorsport 6, Fanatec developed the product in close collaboration with Turn 10 Studios. The Forza Motorsport rim is compatible with the ClubSport Wheel Base, ClubSport Wheel Base V2, but is not compatible to the CSR Elite Wheel.

The Fanatec Forza Motorsport Racing Wheel/hub combination will be available on September 15 while the stand-alone rim will be available late October. The standalone wheel retails for €129,95 and the wheel/hub combination will cost you  €479.90. In the USA, the wheel rim retails for $129.95 while the combo goes for $399.90. The products are already up for pre-order at the official Fanatec website.

Landshut, Germany – 10.9.2015 – Fanatec, alongside Turn 10 Studios, announced today the newest official racing wheel for Xbox One: the Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Rim GT “Forza Motorsport.”

Designed for use on Xbox One and the newest entry in the Forza franchise, “Forza Motorsport 6,” this wheel is the real deal and with a diameter of 330mm it has the same dimensions as professional wheels used in GT racecars.

From a visual perspective, the metal wheel rim is covered with smooth, automotive grade leather and a stitched Forza Motorsport logo. In addition, the white stitching and white center stripe complete the racing-inspired theme.
Highlighting increased flexibility in personal customization, you can easily adjust all button positions or the ergonomics of the shifter paddles. A quick release system allows the opportunity to change your preferred steering wheel within seconds.
