Logitech G 923 TrueForce Wheel Unboxing By Laurence Dusoswa

Avid Sim Racer Laurence Dusoswa presents his unboxing of the new Logitech G 923 TrueForce Wheel by Logitech.

We can easily say that Logitech’s announcement of the new G923 Force Feedback wheel for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One has been the hottest Sim Racing topic of the past few days.

The community feedback regarding the new wheel announcement ranged from super positive to downright toxic due to the fact that the G 923 looks very similar to its predecessor. Some community members see that as a plus, while others seem very disappointed by the lack of innovation on Logitech’s part.

However, Logitech states that the G923 incorporates new features such as the new high-definition force feedback system named “TrueForce.” that dials into a game’s physics and audio engine to deliver an ultra-realistic experience, while the motors and the gear mechanisms utilized for G 923 are the same as the ones from the older G29 and G920 units.

The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals are part of the official licensing program for PlayStation and will, therefore, work with new PlayStation 5 when the console launches later in the year. The Xbox version of the wheel is also compatible with the new upcoming Xbox Series X console.

Pricing: The Logitech G 923 TrueForce is currently available for pre-order at a price of € 399.00 / £349.99  / $399.99. Pre-orders are expected to ship somewhere during August.
