Logitech RS50 System Direct Drive Wheel

As hinted a few days ago, during the Logitech G Play event, the Swiss brand has revealed a selection of brand new Sim Racing peripherals, including the Logitech RS50 System Direct Drive wheel.

This successor to the Logitech G29 is available for purchase starting today.

Logitech now retails two RS50 all-in-one packages. One is compatible with the PC and PS4/PS5 consoles, while the second version is PC/ Xbox-compatible by use of an Xbox-compatible wheel rim.

The RS50 System bundle comes with the RS50 Direct Drive Base, RS Wheel Hub, and RS Round Wheel, as well as every piece of equipment required to mount the RS50 on a table or a sim rig.

The Direct Drive Wheel Base can deliver 8 Newton-meters of torque and features the Logitech TRUEFORCE system, which translates in-game physics and audio data into real-time haptic feedback. The wheel base supports up to 2700 degrees of rotation, adjustable via software. Logitech also integrated a small OLED display, which can display race telemetry data and wheel settings.

The wheel rim connects to the wheelbase via a Logitech Quick Release, while the connection to the PC is handled via a USB-C output. Furthermore, the base is equipped with 3 USB-A ports to connect accessories and features a power button.

The RS50 System wheel base can be mounted using the Logitech table clamp or via 2 rails that support a T-slot mounting system.

Last but not least, the RS50 System is backward compatible with the older G-System 1 pedals and Driving Force shifter via a Logitech G Racing Adapter.
