Moza Racing – R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra True Torque Wheelbases

The Chinese Moza Racing brand has introduced two new professional range Wheelbases in the form of the R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra True Torque Direct Drive units that are scheduled to become available somewhere in Q4 2025.

The top-line Moza R25 Ultra delivers a whopping 25 Newton metres (Nm) of force feedback torque, while the R21 Ultra still manages a very respectable 21 Newton metres (Nm) of torque.

One of the major product innovations is that the new Ultra Wheel Bases now are able to measure up to two million steering wheel positions, which is about ten times more than their predecessors. All this is done by the new 21-bit magnetic encoder.

The wheelbases feature a next-generation custom industrial-grade flat-wire motor with true zero cogging, ensuring ultra-smooth rotation while accurately reproducing every force-feedback detail. All of this is controlled by the Moza Nexgen 4.0 Force Feedback Algorithm.

Furthermore, the R25 Ultra wheelbase is exclusively equipped with a true torque sensor, delivering a sampling accuracy of 0.1% and a response frequency of up to 2 kHz.

The R21 and R25 also feature MOZA’s fully upgraded intelligent cooling system, providing ample motor headroom and optimized thermal efficiency, even under sustained high torque. Real-time temperature monitoring and smart torque regulation work together to maintain peak performance.

Esthetically, some users will like it, others will not, but the compact die-cast aluminum wheelbase housing now features dual RGB light strips along the top edges, offering 16.7 million colors and fully customizable lighting effects, including real-time telemetry feedback for ABS, traction control, gear shifts, and flag signals.

As expected, both wheelbases feature all the dedicated ports for all major MOZA peripherals.
