During this year’s Gamescom (August 26th-30th), the Chinese MOZA Racing brand revealed the officially licensed Porsche GT3 RS Steering Wheel, which is a 1:1 replica of the steering wheel found in the real-world Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992), aimed at the mid-to-high-end sim racing market.
The new 335 mm diameter D-shaped Porsche wheel is developed using original Porsche CAD data, capturing the design and driving details of one of Porsche’s most iconic road-legal performance cars.
The rim is constructed with a high-strength die-cast aluminum alloy frame wrapped in hand-stitched microfiber leather, accented with a 12 o’clock center stripe. The center hub features Porsche’s signature 4-rotary dial layout used for Drive Mode, Suspension, Traction Control, and PTV adjustments in the real car, along with clickable thumbwheels.
The controls offer up to 25 programmable inputs, including 10 front backlit buttons (16.7 million colors), 4 rotary encoders, 2 thumb wheels, a rear button, and a functional push-horn button integrated into the Porsche-crested center cap. The rear of the rim houses 3K twill carbon-fiber magnetic shifter paddles utilizing non-contact Hall-effect sensors, alongside dual Hall-effect analog clutch paddles.
Furthermore, the wheel features a modular/detachable 2.99-inch display telemetry screen setup, allowing users to attach a dedicated digital dash or run the clean factory road-car look.
The Porsche GT3 RS Steering Wheel uses MOZA’s all-aluminum quick-release system with conductive slip rings for seamless mounting on MOZA direct-drive bases, with PC support for third-party wheelbases via an RJ11 port and the MOZA Universal Hub Kit.
If all goes as planned, the Moza Porsche GT3 RS Steering Wheel should be available somewhere later in the year. Price details have yet to be announced.
