While the upcoming Project Motor Racing is putting a significant focus on its multiplayer experience, it also features some comprehensive single-player modes.
The PMR career mode is a highly authentic simulation of the financial and logistical challenges of a professional motorsport career. The player takes on the roles of both driver and team management, managing finances, purchasing their own vehicles, paying championship entry fees, and covering race-by-race travel expenses. You will have to take all these financial situations seriously while driving, as crashing your car will result in staggering repair costs that can force you to miss future races, or can easily bankrupt your team and end your career game.
You will need to locate sponsorships, which come in various models, as you begin a career mode game. You may receive payment for each race, podium bonuses, and damage reimbursement. Your approach and level of risk-taking will be directly impacted by each of these factors.
You can also choose a Starting Budget. You can start in amateur/grassroots classes and work your way up with the $75,000 Low Budget or choose the $600,000 Mid-Range Budget in order to enroll in classes like GT3. The value of the High Budget is $2,000,000.
Both your managing decisions and your driving results will have an equal impact on your career results. Players who feel confident and want the ultimate experience can select “Authentic Mode,” which grants them no retries and locks the AI difficulty.
