Mods and the User-Generated Content portal
Will there be mods available on all platforms?
Yes. Our User Generated Content portal (UGC) will be available for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S.
How will the User Generated Content portal (UGC) work?
We are committed to supporting modifications (mods) across all platforms. However, similar to Farming Simulator, all mods will be subject to a formal testing and approval process prior to release. This requirement applies equally to console platforms, where we encounter the same technical and policy limitations.
Will script-based mods be allowed?
No Script-Based Mods. Due to platform restrictions, script-based mods—which enable advanced or complex functionality—are not permitted on consoles.
What kind of restrictions are in place?
To ensure system stability and maintain compliance with their guidelines, platform holders enforce strict security and content policies regarding user-generated content. These policies limit the types of mods that can be made available on consoles.
Will there be a testing and approval process?
Every mod must successfully pass a review conducted by Quality Assurance and meet the certification standards established by console manufacturers before it can be released.
Factory Driver Program:
What is the Factory Driver Program (FDP)?
The Factory Driver Program is a way for Straight4 Studios to ensure handling in the sim is “Race Ready”. This is done with a close collaboration between our physics and handling teams and highly experienced sim racers and professional drivers who provide detailed feedback.
Can I apply for the Factory Driver Program (FDP)?
We are not accepting applications at this time. However, keep an eye on our channels, where we will announce any potential expansion of the FDP intake.
How long does the review process take for the Factory Driver Program (FDP)?
Available spaces are limited, and to ensure we have the most suitable drivers, the review process is done manually. This means the review process is a lengthy one, and it may be some time before a decision is made.

Will I receive the GTE Decade DLC if I pre-order on Steam?
Yes. The GTE Decade pack is your bonus DLC for pre-ordering Project Motor Racing, irrespective of the storefront used for purchase.

About Project Motor Racing:
The release version of Project Motor Racing will feature a large Car and Track Roster, including more than 70 painstakingly re-created, licensed cars from ten distinct racing classes out of various motorsport eras. Furthermore, you will be able to race these cars on 28 laser-scanned tracks from various regions of the world.
Project Motor Racing promises a high degree of realism thanks to what is called a revolutionary physics engine. Additionally, the game has “living” cockpits that display heat haze, grime, and G-forces. A 24-hour day-night cycle, dynamic weather, and an adaptive racing line that adjusts as the track dries or rubber accumulates are all features of the acclaimed “True2Track” system.
The game features various game modes, including online multiplayer, a single-player career mode, and a variety of event formats, such as multi-class racing and race weekends.
What also sets the game apart from most racing titles is the modding support. Project Motor Racing is being developed on the “mod-friendly” GIANTS Engine 10, which enables creative members of the community to develop modding projects that can be used on PCs and consoles. However, to ensure a certain degree of quality, Mods have to be submitted for a testing and approval procedure.
