ProtoSimTech Interview + PT-1 Pedals Release date

The Uber Sim Racing hardware reviewer, Barry Rowland invited Chris Smith of ProtoSimTech to his home for an exclusive interview.

Chris is the designer of the high-end PT-1 Pedals set that is going to be released next week.  These great looking Aluminum and Stainless Steel pedals feature a 50kg Load Cell on the brake pedal and Industrial Quality Potentiometers on the throttle and Clutch Pedals.The pedal unit can be used inverted or placed Right Side Up, according to your own preference. On of the main features of the product is it’s full-on adjustability.

The ProtoSimTech PT-1 Pedal set will be available for immediate purchase on June 1st, 2015 at 12 noon Eastern Standard Time. The PT-1 pedal set will be limited to 1 set per customer. Considering the high-quality construction and the use of high-quality components, the PT-1 pedals are kept very affordable.

The PT-1 3 Pedal set will be on the market for $379 / €345.50  + Shipping & Handling. A 2-pedal unit, featuring Throttle and Brake pedal will be available for $319 / €290.50 + Shipping & Handling.

ProtoSimTech is also planning to release extra add-on Pedal Faces for the PT-1 Pedal Set. These curved pedal faces are 1/2″ thick overall. They are made from tough ABS plastic and designed to give you a nice smooth feeling as you press on the pedal. If all goes well the extra Pedal Faces should also be available at the PT-1 release date for $39 / €35.50  + Shipping $ Handling.

Each set of pedals will include all the necessary hardware needed to make adjustments to each pedal. An extra hard brake bushing will also be included for those that want a much harder brake feeling. ProtoSimTech will also be including instructional videos filled with information on how to make adjustments to your pedals, and how to properly care for them.
