Rennsport – Beta Update V1.6.0 – New Tracks & TCR Class

Rennsport - Beta Update V1.6.0 - New Tracks & TCR Class

Munich-based publisher Competition Company has released Beta Update V1.6.0 for the Rennsport online racing platform.

V1.6.0 can be regarded as the biggest Rennsport update yet, including two new (North American) tracks in the form of Road Atlanta and the Daytona International Speedway circuits. Also, the Hyundai Elantra N and the Audi RS3 LMS join the Beta introducing the TCR class to the title. Furthermore, the update brings rolling starts and various improvements to the handling and physics.

At the time of writing, no release notes were shared. I will update this post when more details become available. For now, check out the official Beta Update trailer.

Closed Beta:

Back in September 2022, Competition Company initiated its Rennsport Closed Beta phase registration. Community members who want a shot at becoming a closed Beta Tester, can head over to the official RennSport website and fill in the necessary forms. You will then be added to the Closed Beta waiting list, and hopefully, get selected for closed beta access.

The Rennsport closed Beta was initially planned to launch at the end of 2022 but has been postponed until early 2023. For those who do not make it to the selection, an open Beta is scheduled to launch in the Spring of 2023.
