Back in November 2023, Competition Company released the full Road Atlanta track for its Rensport racing simulator.

The German developer has now announced that an additional Road Atlanta Short Course layout will be part of the upcoming free update for Rennsport on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

The 2.830 kilometers Road Atlanta Short Course layout will feature short straights and 10 corners, making it a suitable track for less-powerful cars and more intense sprint races.

There is currently no official release date shared.

About Road Atlanta

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a 2.540-mile (4.088 km) road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. It is one of the most popular and respected racing circuits in the country and is known for its challenging layout and scenic setting.

The track has 12 turns, including the famous “esses” between turns three and five, and Turn 12, a downhill, diving turn. The esses are a series of four closely spaced turns that require drivers to brake hard and change direction quickly. Turn 12 is a blind corner that comes at the end of a long straightaway, and is known for being one of the most challenging corners on the track.

Road Atlanta is home to a variety of racing events throughout the year, including the Petit Le Mans endurance race, AMA Superbike Championship races, and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races. The track is also popular for racing and driving schools, corporate events, and testing for motorsports teams. In addition to its racing history, Road Atlanta is also known for its beautiful scenery. The track is located in the rolling hills of Northeast Georgia and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
